BAG!
What are the contents of a lady’s handbag? This is a query
that has haunted man for years together and he is at his wit’s
end trying to come up with an answer. The fact is that there
is simply no mystery. Women usually carry a number of items in
their handbag. But a major problem is trying to ferret out
what’s inside the handbag.
Outsized handbags are likely to have a number of small pockets
or niches where items can lie concealed, and when they are
there for a considerable period, it sure does come as a bolt
from the blue to even the women concerned as to what she has
inside her handbag.
Be prepared! Is a lady’s motto. She is ready to face any
eventuality and she carries with her numerous assorted tools
required to perform her everyday chores. There was this
person, who was putting on view what she kept inside her
handbag. What looked like a strange article, emerged from her
handbag. What do you think it was? Well, a cigarette lighter
was the item in question. Well, one may believe that this not
at all unusual barring the fact that this lady was a
non-smoker. When questioned as to why she carried it with her
in the handbag, the reply completely added up. An occupational
therapist by profession, it was the one thing in the lady’s
department, to always celebrate a patient’s birthday with a
birthday cake that has birthday candles. Since no one in the
department smoked, they were always searching for matches. She
had come across these cheap, disposable lighters up for sale,
and picked one up to keep in her bag. At the workplace, nobody
rummages around for matches any more.
If you feel that women keep unusual articles inside their
handbags, you can take for granted that they generally have a
sound basis for them being put there. It may appear to be a
peculiar reason or it may look like a solid reason then, but
they will always come up with a reason for the things in their
handbag. If at any time, you are in search of a screwdriver or
a strange article, you are sure to come across a woman who
carries just such a thing in her handbag.
Customs greatly differ from one country to another, and it is
quite astonishing to discover that in one Far East country,
women seldom carry a handbag. Well, they do posses handbags,
but simply do not carry it. They tend to deposit numerous
articles in their handbags, just like their Western
counterparts. This is where the likeness ends, since unlike
Western women, who have to shoulder the weight of their
handbag, in this particular Far East country, men carry
women’s handbags.
If you wish to protest and find fault with all the assorted
items that, your spouse/partner or girlfriend keeps in her
handbag, simply mull over how it would appear if you and not
your mate had to tote the handbag!
